The Hoxie Pilates journey started when I developed a love for fitness and health in college while working at a boutique strength and HIIT studio in Athens, GA.
I developed a heart for women’s fitness, especially mother-daughter relationships after seeing the effects of unhealthy relationships with fitness and generational eating disorders could be passed down.
After finishing college I moved back to Atlanta and started teaching contemporary Pilates at a number of different studios in the Atlanta area in March 2021. I got married to my husband, Noel, in November 2022, and combined my passion for healthy fitness with his passion for entrepreneurship.
Shortly after getting married, we purchased a 1200 square foot studio at 1261 Apple Valley Road. Our dream became a reality when we renovated the space, ordered 4 rialto reformers, and launched the business in June 2023.
From the very first class, I have been humbled by the response and overwhelming loyalty of our clients. We have grown steadily, adding a 5th reformer in October 2023 and a 6th reformer in April 2024.
